Happy Father's Day to all the video game fathers.
So here's the second post with new pictures taken
from Too Many Games convention in Oak's PA. My son and I
really had a great time, found some unique games to try out and
I found myself some collectible items to put on the shelves
in my office. Tomorrow I will post what I picked up for myself.
This Mega Man 8-Bit art is made with all legos.
Pretty impressive, he was not there Friday night.
Someone had a 3D Printer at the convention and they were
printing out video game and geeky stuff out of it. Pretty cool and
wasn't expecting to see this there. And that is what makes this convention fun.
heck out the little molds of Link from
Legend of Zelda they made.
Lots of other different small molds.
This was pretty incredible, a custom Nintendo car.
When I saw this I thought to myself, if there was a modern
car that looked like a car from Mario Kart this would be it!
You can see the one who owns this won some trophy's too.
The detail inside is very creative. See the cartridge holding slots,
not sure if they play something or if they are just holders.
So awesome, I loved that they made the amps look like Thwomps
and a Mario pipe as a woofer enclosure.
And here are some pictures of some more games. There was an insane
amount of games at the convention. The rarest stuff can be easily found here.
Tournament schedule. Lots of people playing in tournaments all over.
I watch the Injustice one and I never noticed the game, been too
busy to try it out. Have to say the tournament players made it
look like an awesome game!
This sword was the most expensive thing I saw at the convention. I can't remember most of the story I was told on it. All I can say is Nintendo made one of these for a kid that won some crazy contest. It cost $12,000 to make and has had 3 owners so far, only taken out once for display, and until this convention only a couple of pictures of it exist on the internet. The guys from
combopoint.com are selling it for around $24,000. It's one of a kind and Ultra collectible piece made of bronze and opals. I was really blown away by this thing. Some more picture below of other highly colectbale items these guys had.
It was a great time at the convention. I've decided next year I am going to get a table there. So look out for All Things Video Games to be at Too Many Games convention next year!!
