Samsung GX 1395 13" CRT Television

Nice Samsung GX 1395 13" CRT Television. If your childhood was spent playing video games in the 1990's you should remember this television that was marketed towards video gamers. I remember seeing these televisions in gamer magazines with a expensive price tag. They also made appearances in Funcoland stores to test used games on. I found this in a local thrift store at a great price.

Tested and everything seems to work great so far. All the speakers work great.

Side view of how big this thing is. It's currently taking up the wide of my desk!

As you can see in this picture the television has a sub woofer built into the television. The bass is very rich and deep, perfect for retro gaming.

It was two inputs for AV cable connections, two separate coaxial connections, one for TV Antenna and one for game system input

Picture of the label specifications above.

Craigslist Games for Sale.

Funny story with this find. I contacted a woman on craigslist.org that was listing these games.

When on the phone she said that I was the first one that contacted her and we could meet up the next day in the afternoon. When that afternoon phone call came she started immediately telling me all the games by title she had and this went on for about ten minutes. I finally told her "Well, I live pretty close and I could just stop by you don't have to tell me every single game you have over the phone." She then proceeded to tell me I needed to but a entertainment center if I wanted the games. This was mentioned in the original ad as for sale also, not together, for a additional $20. When I told her I wasn't going to buy that too she said that she had someone else interested in buying everything all together and that if I didn't want everything she was going to see if he wanted it instead.

Later, around 8pm at night she calls me back and says that the other guy wasn't interested so if I still wanted the stuff I could come get it without the entertainment center. Once I was there I knew it was worth buying the games for $80. Lots of great RPG's and strategy guides for them and others.

Before I left with everything she did say "Are you sure you don't want the entertainment center? I really wanted to get rid of that too." I said to her, "Sorry, but you couldn't give that to me for free. I have no place for it today with a TV hanging on my wall."

Good find with lots of great games. Getting ready to list some on Ebay soon. I can't wait for the weather to warm up to hunt for some more really awesome finds!
